We are seeking a Product Engineer in San Francisco to drive the full lifecycle of our product features. About the role

This role is for a Product Engineer based in San Francisco. You will be a core member of our engineering team, responsible for bridging the gap between product vision and technical execution. You will work across the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring our products are high-quality, performant, and meet user needs.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable software solutions for our core products.
  • Collaborate directly with product managers and designers to define requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code across the stack.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and uphold engineering best practices.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Iterate on features based on user feedback, data analysis, and business objectives.

Who you are

  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on building user-facing products.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and/or building scalable back-end services.
  • Solid understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and RESTful API design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex product requirements into clear, actionable technical plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of personal projects.
  • Experience with data analytics tools or A/B testing frameworks.
